Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one ministry through an individual who has learned skills and developed his/her gifts to extend a supporting hand to someone in a time of crisis or need.
How do I become a Stephen Minister?
- Serving in the Stephen Ministry initially takes two years. The first year involves 50 hours of training. The training is usually offered from September-March. The second phase of ministry involves one-on-one interaction with another individual as a Stephen Minister, along with continuing education.
Continuing education for Stephen Ministers is on the first and third Tuesday of each month (except December) and is open to former Stephen Ministers.
