Orchard Kids: Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Sundays, 9 &10:45 am

Elementary In Kindergarten-5th grade, the children are grouped according to their corresponding grade level at their school. They are lovingly taught God's Word and encouraged to grow in their spiritual journey.

Our Goals
The primary goal of Elementary Sunday School is to teach children the basic truths of the Bible with specific application to student’s lives. Significant relationships will be developed with their teachers, allowing children to see the love of Jesus in action. They will also be building vital friendships with their peers in a loving and accepting atmosphere. Their curriculum consists of:

  • Kindergarten: Children spend their year studying the life of Jesus and understanding concepts regarding their salvation.
  • 1st – 2nd Grade: Children participate in a two-year Old Testament/New Testament Bible survey with significant attention given to major themes and concepts.
  • 3rd- 4th Grade: Offers a two-year Old Testament/New Testament study stressing application of biblical truths to their everyday lives. The children will learn that the Bible is a complete story of God revealing Himself to us and how His plan brings us into a right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
  • 5th Grade: Our goal for this year is for students to find God and His Word irresistible and applicable. The curriculum focuses on their relationship with Christ and how that is reflected in their relationships with peers, family and the world around them.
