Feed My Starving Children
Friday, June 21, 6-7:30 p.m., Schaumburg, IL
Join us for this family service project! Elementary through High School students and their families are invited to attend. We will be filling manna packs at FMSC from 6-7:30 p.m. Families are also invited to meet us an hour early for dinner at Chick-Fil-A in Schaumburg which is only minutes away from the packing site. Check out more information about Feed My Starving Children and others ways to get involved. FMSC Policies: Do not wear any jewelry when you arrive and come wearing closed toed shoes.
SpringHill Day Camp

Dates: August 12-16, 2013
Daily: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Costs: $159 per week for each child
$144 per week for additional sibling
(this discount will be applied AFTER you are registered)
Ages: Any child who will be in 1st through 5th grade for school year 2013-14
Lunch
Each day, campers will need to bring their own lunch in an insulated lunch box. Please make sure that your child has a refilable water bottle every day as well. SpringHill will provide snack.
Clothing
Campers need to be prepared to play hard and get dirty. They should wear strudy shoes (no sandles) and should bring a bathing suit, towel and sunscreen every day. A change of clothes is also recommended. Please be sure your child's name is on everything he or she brings to camp.
Volunteer Opportunities
Monday Morning Check-In
8:15 - 9:30 a.m. on the opening day of camp.
It’s the first day of camp and we need your help in registering campers as quickly as possible. This is a very short time commitment, but has a huge impact as it begins the camp experience for each child.
Activities Helper
Wish you could be a camper?
Climbing wall, bungee trampoline, giant's swing and crafts are a few of the awesome activities we need your help with throughout the week. You'll assist our summer camp counselors at specific activity areas. Activities run from 10:15 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday. We'd love to have you all week, but if you can only help out for a day, let us know!
Lunch-Staff Meal Preparation
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday - Friday, but feel free to sign up if you can only do one day.
We need your help feeding our SpingHill staff, counselors in training and volunteers!
Friday Celebration
Like to be rewarded with ice cream?
Please help us welcome family and friends of day campers to our Friday Celebration. We need smiling greeters to welcome families and serve ice cream. We'll need your help from 2:15-3:30 p.m. Feel free to join us for the closing rally at 3:30 and see all that God has done!
Medical Volunteer
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday, but hours and days can be flexible.
Are you a nurse, paramedic, EMT or have other medical training? We are looking for volunteers who can provide medical attention to our campers.
Host a Staff Gathering
Like to Throw Parties?
On Tuesday and Thursday, we gather our summer staff for worship, dinner and fun. We're looking for people who are willing to let us use their big backyards for these gatherings. If you want to include a pool party or barbeque, that's awesome, too! The gatherings are typically from 6-9:30 p.m.
Housing Summer Staff
August 9 (Friday night) - August 15 (Thursday morning). Want to get to know our staff?
SpringHill needs your help in housing our fun, kid-friendly college-aged summer staff. SpringHill would prefer to place 3-5 staff together at each home close to The Orchard.
Scholarship Donations
Can you provide a great week to a camper in need?
We need 25 donations of $159 each so we can provide full scholarships to 25 campers who otherwise couldn't attend.
