Chicago summers seem to pass way too quickly, but friends in the Filipino ministry enjoyed an outing to the Botanic Garden. It was a pleasure to stroll through the vast gardens and savor the incredible beauty with special friends.

Scripture Reading of the Book of Deuteronomy
In Pastor Colin's sermon on September 4 and 5, he shared how an assignment, given by a college professor, helped to change his view of God's love revealed in the Old Testament. As a church, we would like to take the same challenge. Join us at 5:30 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2010 for Deuteronomy in One Sitting. We'll meet in the sanctuary at the Arlington Heights Campus to listen as our leaders read through the entire book of Deuteronomy in one sitting.

Did you miss this gathering? We had different kinds of wonderful food: butcher’s meat burgers, Italian sausage, and chicken soaked by a special sauce. We also had great conversation and played basketball. The kids also enjoyed playing baseball with a soft ball and plastic bat. At the end, we put marshmallows on fire. We certainly filled our body and soul through this gathering. Make sure you don't miss our next event!
More than 300 people worshipped together at the Unlocking the Bible event on April 25th, One Night-One Voice-One God. Many various Easter services were held at The Orchard like Easter concerts, Good Friday, Palm Sunday, and Easter Sunday service. We expressed our thankfulness to the Lord our Jesus Christ. Through this week People were remineded his amaizing sacrifice through preaching, music, and word of God. Jesus Christ shed his blood and died on the cross for us. And in three days Christ was resurrected from the dead for us. Now he is at the right hand of God.
Superbowl Party
Feburary 7, 2010, our Filipino friends gathered togher first time. We had a potluck gathering and watched the Super Bowl together. This is just the first of many fun events and fellowship, so please join us.
