Our mission is to glorify God by becoming men committed to living under the authority of God’s Word, seeking to live self-controlled, trustworthy, and godly lives. Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. - Psalm 127:1a
Men's Night - Being a Servant Leader in Your Home
Friday, 6-9 p.m., June 14
Come learn how to serve your family an excellent meal. Two of the country’s foremost barbecue experts will teach you how to grill a unique shish-kabob and a steak to perfection. Then after a barbecue meal together we’ll discuss what it means to be the servant leader God calls us to be in our homes. Cost is $5 per person which includes the meal. Register online by June 9.
Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. June 19 & 26, July 10 & 17
Join us as we apply the gospel to our lives, homes, church and work place. This is an intergenerational study for men and women on four Wednesdays: June 19& 26 and July 10 & 17. Men and women will break out into separate discussion groups after a large group teaching. Family LIFE children's programs will also be available.
Men in Action
Join with other men in forming work teams to "adopt" single mothers, widows, and others who may need help in performing minor fix-it jobs around the house. Teams meet at church one Saturday morning per month for prayer and then deploy to homes for half-day work sessions. Contact Stace Stoltzfus, 847.636.8664, to get involved.
