At The Orchard, as we dig our roots down deep into God’s word, we become convinced that we must obey His command and must take the message of the Gospel beyond our own local congregation to all parts of the world. We do this through evangelism, through helping people to find vital life in Christ, and through bearing fruit as we plant new churches and train godly leaders.
Currently, The Orchard supports more than 80 missionary “units” – individuals and families. Approximately 25 of these are national leaders or national students training for ministry. They serve in 22 countries, in seven major regions of the world: North, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
In addition, to our career missionaries, we send approximately 200 individuals to various parts of the world each year—allowing them to serve on short-term assignments.
As a church body, we support missions through...
- caring for missionaries
- raising awareness of the missions mandate through conferences and special events
- creating opportunities for involvement in missions through support activities
- providing special projects for our congregation
- sending members of The Orchard on short-term mission trips
