The Orchard Symphony

The Orchard Symphony is an artistic event that celebrates the gospel. Wherever there is beauty and creativity, God is behind it, the ultimate author of beauty and creativity. The Orchard Symphony brings together our church musicians with college and professional players outside the church to form a collaboration for the glory of God.

On Sunday, February 24, at 7 p.m., we will enjoy a program of music featuring George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Erich Korngold’s Cello Concerto, with solos by Chicago Symphony members Richard Hirschl and Cornelius Chiu. The program will also include a new piece for oboe and orchestra by director Dan Wells and three pieces for choir by Dan Forrest.
