Chicago | Kids

We are passionate about shaping the lives of children as they grow and flourish in their understanding of who God is and what He’s doing in the world!

We have created a safe and caring environment – every volunteer goes through a screening/background check process and our secure children’s area is limited to children, their families and our volunteers.

If you're joining us in person, we’d love to meet you! Please introduce yourself to one of our staff members so that we can answer any questions you might have about Orchard Kids. If you're joining online,  feel free to contact us using our contact information below.

When We Meet

Due to Covid-19, our children's programs are currently not meeting. We hope to be meeting again soon, so stay tuned for more info.

Sundays, 10 a.m.

  • Nursery (infants to 2-year-olds): Room 1
  • Preschool (2-year-olds to kindergarten): Room 1
  • Primary (1st to 5th grade): Room 2

Online Resources

We are using the Gospel Project's online curriculum to allow children to grow in their understanding of the Bible at home throughout the week. You can find those resources here (scroll to the bottom under Kids Resources).

All children are required to check in at the Welcome Desk to receive a child check-in nametag and a matching adult pick-up nametag. All of our volunteers are background checked, screened and trained. There are always at least two screened ministry volunteers present in each classroom to ensure the safety and security of your children.

If your child has a severe food allergy, please note that when you sign in, and talk to an Orchard Kids volunteer so we are aware of the specific allergy and its severity. Additionally, we try to stay away from common food allergies with our snacks, such as nuts.

Due to Covid-19, we will not be offering any snacks in classrooms. If your child has a condition that requires a water bottle or snack, please let their teacher know.

Yes! Child dedication is an acknowledgment by parents that they have been entrusted with their child by God. It is also a commitment to teach, train and model godliness for your child—a pledge you are asked to take publicly, before God and our church family.

Please fill out a child dedication request form if you’re interested in dedicating your child and our staff will be in touch with you about the next child dedication dates and meetings.
