We are passionate about shaping the lives of children as they grow and flourish in their understanding of who God is and what He’s doing in the world!
We have created a safe and caring environment – every volunteer goes through a screening/background check process and our secure children’s area is limited to children, their families and our volunteers. We also celebrate various milestones in a child’s life through child dedication, kindergarten Bible presentations and 5th grade graduation.
Stop by one of our two Welcome Desks to check your children into an Orchard Kids classroom. We’d love to meet you! Please introduce yourself to one of our staff members so that we can answer any questions you might have.

Awana, our mid-week program, is a ministry committed to reaching boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. Awana clubs are a place where children 3-years-old to 5th grade can play games, memorize Bible verses and learn Bible lessons. Our four clubs are:
- Cubbies (3- & 4-year-olds)
- Sparks (K - 2nd grade)
- T&T (3rd - 5th grade)
All Orchard Kids are required to check in at one of our four kiosks to receive a child check-in nametag and a matching adult pick-up nametag. Guests can obtain a temporary wristband at our Orchard Kids Welcome Desk. All of our volunteers and background checked, screened and trained.
We welcome children with all types of Special Needs and will provide a “buddy” for them so parents can attend the church service. We would love to meet your child to determine how we can support them in the best way possible.
Additionally, SNaP’N (Special Needs Parent Network) meets the first Monday of each month September-May, 6:30-8 p.m., Room 110. Parents of children/adults with special needs gather for a time in God’s Word, prayer and occasional outside speakers. Volunteer caregivers are provided for all children/adults with special needs and their siblings.

We use the same system as the local public schools to determine which classroom is the most appropriate for your child—with a September 1 cut-off date.
Parents of infants through kindergartners will be contacted through a pager you will receive at check-in. Children 1st through 5th grade will be escorted to you during the service.
If your child has an allergy, please let us know at welcome or on the registration card so we can implement our allergy process and ensure your child’s safety.
Yes, we encourage families to worship together! It’s okay if your kids are a little squirmy.
Whether you are here for the first time or have attended for years, all parents are asked to show their child’s ticket when picking up children, infants to second grade. Third through fifth grade are allowed to leave their classrooms upon dismissal, so please set up a family meeting spot.
Yes! Child dedication is an acknowledgment by parents that they have been entrusted with their child by God. It is also a commitment to teach, train and model godliness for your child—a pledge you are asked to take publicly, before God and our church family.
Please fill out a child dedication request form if you’re interested in dedicating your child and our staff will be in touch with you about the next child dedication dates and meetings.
