Pacific Garden Mission

1458 S. Canal St. Chicago, IL 60607

As the country’s oldest continuously operating Gospel rescue mission, Pacific Garden Mission works to save and restore the lives of homeless and hurting men, women and children. They help bring new life to Chicago’s homeless and hurting through feeding, helping and embracing men, women and children with the compassion of Jesus Christ.

Job loss. Addiction. Family tragedy. There are as many roads to homelessness as there are homeless people in Chicago. Together we can help.

Together Chicago

A group of Chicago area business, faith, community, non-profit, civic and government leaders realized that though the challenges in Chicago are highly complex and have developed over decades, there are strategic actions that can be taken to create a “collective impact”. Through these conversations, the desire to form a new nonprofit organization grew and Together Chicago was born. We formally launched Together Chicago in the fall of 2017 and are currently engaged in our five areas of focus – economic development, education, violence reduction, gospel justice, and faith community mobilization.
